A Marriage of Vision
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008
Dear Partner,
Let me share with you what I believe God’s plan for us as a ministry is. It’s to create a global citadel of creative evangelism reaching far into the deepest parts of the earth. And every day, we are working progressively to bring that culture of heaven to this world. Redemption wasn’t meant for a bunch of every-Sunday saints alone. It is for the whole world and it’s sad that many Christians act like they are doing God a favour by preaching the gospel.
Jesus said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Jesus sees beyond our religious activities and desires that we take His redemptive power and love to the people who are perishing.
That’s what I called a marriage of vision - aligning our heavenly goals with Christ’s earthly goals. When we become one with Jesus and we begin to grow in our walk with Him, we will begin to discover just how dissatisfied He is with our attitude towards His simple parting wish: Tell the world about me.
This month, don’t get caught up in the usual corporate workflow. See the world through the eyes of Christ and see how sad He is about sinners plunging into hell on a daily basis.
Marry your vision with Christ’s. You’ll be shocked at what you’ll see.
God bless you and thank you for your constant feedback. It means a lot to us.
Have an excellent month.
